Vinyl to replace the CD?

We want to hear some reactions on the Wired Article we posted.

So...is the CD dead?

Where/how do you buy your music?

When was the last time you bought a CD?

What do you use most to listen to music?

Hmm....I still buy CDs. I think a lot of people will still buy them as they can have a hard source of music that takes up less space then vinyl and they aren't quite as volatile as software-based music data.

Soulcrusher,
I think vinyl still hasn't hit the mainstream (I don't know many people who own a turntable).

I really only buy CD's if I really like the artist, otherwise I buy on I Tunes a lot.

But if your computer crashes, like mine has, you have to back your music on a CD anyways :).
